This cover started with just a colored photo, but once I croped the photo, desaturated the photo, changed the color of the runners sneakers and added the title. Voilá we have a cover that represents the online course you are about to take.

Cover for one of many online courses created for Cross Country Education. It was lots of fun coming up with a creative way to illustrate the course's front cover. You see this and you already know what the course is about and have a great idea of what you are going to learn. In fact once the cover was created the rest of the course page templates would be an easy thing to complete.
